Noemí Villaparedes 

My name is Noemí Keila Villaparedes Ley, but I go by my nickname, Mimi. I am a poet, an aspiring forensic psychologist, and a passionate global citizen. My motivation in life is to give back to the world in a way that is authentic to me. I've always been intrigued by the different ways our minds function and by the cultural and environmental factors that contribute to it. I hope to eliminate misconceptions about mental illness that divide and categorize people. My dream is to spread awareness about the differences we can't see and create a better sense of unity around the world.
